After completing the installation and connection of the busbar, the power transmission process can be carried out. This process will involve the start-up and commissioning of the power system to ensure the safe and stable operation of the busbar system.
Before power transmission on the busbar, it is necessary to carefully check the tightening of all screws and confirm whether the external end of the connector joint bolt has been unscrewed and fallen off. Afterwards, it is necessary to verify whether the phase sequence of the busbar is consistent with that of the low-voltage cabinet, and ensure that the switch of the plug-in box is in the disconnected state.
Before power transmission, an insulation test must be conducted,
using a 500V megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance
between phases, phase shells, and various functional units of the
busbar. It is required that the insulation resistance of all
measuring points should not be less than 2M Ω, and the test results
should be recorded in a table. The power transmission operation can
only be carried out after being signed and confirmed by the owner.
The bus duct system can meet the rated current requirement of up to 5000A, while cables require multiple parallel connections to meet this standard.
The cross-sectional size of the 5000A LD bus duct is only 240 ×
180mm, which greatly saves space. In contrast, cables require a
large amount of space.
Bus ducts can be directly controlled near equipment, while cables
must be centrally controlled in the distribution room, resulting in
poor flexibility.
The bus duct is equipped with standard installation brackets,
simplifying the installation process and eliminating the need for
additional support; And cables need to be laid through specialized
cable trays or pipelines, which increases complexity.
The durability of the bus duct is extremely high, with a lifespan
of up to 50 years, and it can be reused; However, cables are
shorter and cannot be reused, resulting in relatively higher costs.
The sub interface design of the bus duct makes it simple and
feasible to add sub circuits, while cables need to be laid from the
distribution room and cannot be flexibly adjusted.
The insurance cost for bus ducts is relatively low, further
reducing the overall cost; The insurance cost for cables is
relatively high.
